At Aquaman Design we really love to use the Joomla! Content Management System (CMS) wherever we can. The system is free to install and can help our customers to become masters of the content on their own website.
Publishing content couldn't be easier using Joomla!. Joomla! uses a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor and it looks just like Microsoft Word. You write your content in articles. Publishing and unpublishing articles really is as simple as clicking a button.
However, for those of us who work in the design or computer industry clicking a button and being confident its the right button is usually a matter of knowing most things are reversible. However, at Aquaman, we realise that most of our customers don't work in the computer industry, they work in anything but, so even a simple thing like clicking a button can become an anxious moment if you're not sure its the right button.
So our guide is designed not just for our customers, but for those out there all across the world who just want to have a step-by-step no tech speak guide to Joomla!.
The only thing this guide will assume is that Joomla! has already been installed on your system or that you just want to read about it before installing. I have no plans to provide instructions on installation as of yet.
There's lots to write about so creating this guide will take some time, but hopefully it will act as a good reference for those who want to find out about Joomla!.
I have made a plan for the first few articles they will be:
Soon you will be able to register to receive notification of when a new article has been published, but until then if you would like to receive notification by email then please send an email via our contact page.

Having seen previous work by Duncan, we decided to approach him to design our website.
When we first started we had no idea how to structure the look of the website - Duncan gave us very good clear ideas how the pages should look and to the layout. |
