Change (* Required)
I often find a customer wishes to change the text at the top of the registration form of the shopping cart Virtuemart. By default is say (* Required), which refers to the fields in the form. However, the customer may wish to explain why these fields are required at all, as some people don't like to give out details on the net - and fair enough.
So here's how to change it if you need to.
Using your favourite ftp software locate the following file in your virtuemart folder within your joomla installation:
administrator/components/com_virtuemart/languages/common/english.php
Then go to line 671, where you will find the code: CMN_REQUIRED' => 'Required'
The text within the single quotes is the text which is displayed on the top of the registration form. Change this to whatever you like, but it's probably worth keeping the word 'Required' as this follows an asterix, which refers to the required fields in the form.

When I was looking to develop a website for my company, I chose Aquaman Design on the strength of recommendations from two other companies and, in turn, I'm now recommending them as well! |
